    The entrance is on Seymour Gardens, a private road off Salisbury Street. Walk down Seymour Gardens and turn left down a passageway just before the car park. We will meet you at the door to the entrance.

  • A large pay and display car park is available a short 2–4 minute walk from the clinic (Central Car Park, Amesbury). Limited on-street parking is also available nearby for shorter visits, typically restricted to short stays with local signage in place.

  • Yes. All new clients begin with a consultation. This allows your skin, medical history, treatment history, concerns and goals to be assessed before any treatment is carried out.

    All injectable treatments and Signature Packages require consultation prior to treatment, including for existing clients. This ensures suitability is assessed and treatment options are discussed before proceeding.

    For anti-wrinkle injections (botulinum toxin), a consultation with a qualified medical prescriber is required prior to treatment and will be arranged for you.

  • Yes. The £30 consultation fee is fully redeemable against treatment if you proceed within 3 months. Beyond this timeframe, you may require a follow-up consultation to determine if there have been any changes in your skin and suitability for treatment, which is free of charge.

  • Yes. Treatments are carried out by a qualified aesthetic practitioner with an Ofqual-regulated Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice. All treatments follow established clinical protocols. The clinic is fully insured, and up-to-date training in first aid and complication management is maintained.

  • All prescription-based treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, are carried out in partnership with a qualified medical prescriber. A consultation with the prescriber is required before any prescription treatment is administered.

  • Yes. A review appointment is carried out within two weeks of treatment. This allows assessment of your result and, where clinically appropriate, a small adjustment to refine the outcome. This is offered without charge and included within the price of your original treatment.

  • Appointments can be booked online. If you are unsure what to book, a consultation is the best starting point.

  • No. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment following your consultation.

  • A booking deposit of £50 is required for all Aesthetic Treatments, and a £30 deposit for Facials.

    A deposit for Signature Packages can be discussed during the consultation. You can pay deposits during the online booking process.

    The balance for treatments can be paid in-person with a debit or credit card, Google Pay or Paypal.

  • The aim is to improve the quality and visible appearance of your skin with natural and refined results, as opposed to overcorrection. Treatments are carried out with precision and control.

  • In some cases, and where time allows, treatment may be carried out at the same appointment. This will depend on the treatment type and clinical suitability.

    Anti-wrinkle injections require a separate consultation with a medical prescriber before treatment, this will be arranged for you.

  • Existing clients may book repeat treatments directly where appropriate.

    A consultation is required when introducing a new treatment or changing your treatment plan. All injectable treatments and Signature Packages require consultation prior to booking.

  • Your skin is examined and concerns and treatment goals are discussed in detail. Your medical history is taken, including any medications, allergies and relevant health conditions, to ensure treatment is appropriate and safe.

    The most suitable treatment options are explained clearly, including what is achievable and how treatments may be approached over time. Where appropriate, a structured treatment plan will be outlined.

    You will have the opportunity to ask questions and consider the options presented. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment following your consultation.

  • Treatment is selected based on your skin condition, concerns and desired outcome. You do not need to decide in advance. A clear recommendation will be made during consultation.

  • This depends on the treatment, your skin condition and how results are maintained. Some treatments are designed for short-term improvement, while others build cumulative change over time.

    Please refer to the treatments menu on the home page which details how long the results typically last for each treatment, and any recommended maintenance. A more detailed timeline will be provided during consultation.

  • Some treatments deliver visible improvement after a single session, while others are designed to work as a course. Where a course is recommended, this is because results build progressively and more reliably over time.

  • Downtime is minimal to moderate depending on the treatment. A detailed overview is provided during consultation so you know what to expect. There is also an overview provided in the treatments menu on the homepage.

  • Most treatments do not require time off work. Where downtime is expected, this will be discussed in advance so you can plan accordingly.

  • All treatments carry some level of risk. This may include temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity or bruising, depending on the treatment. These are explained during consultation.

  • Yes. A medical history is required before treatment to ensure it is safe and appropriate.

  • Most treatments, particularly injectables, are not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Suitability will be confirmed during consultation.

  • No. Treatments are not carried out on anyone under 18.

  • Results typically last around 3 to 4 months, depending on the treatment area, dosage and individual response.

  • This varies depending on the treatment and whether a full course has been completed. In most cases, a course is recommended first, followed by maintenance.

  • Certain treatments may require a patch test in advance. This is more likely where active products are used or where skin is sensitive or reactive. This will be advised during consultation.

  • You may be advised to avoid heat, exercise, alcohol and active skincare for a short period following treatment. Specific aftercare guidance is provided at your appointment.

  • Strenuous exercise is typically avoided for 24 hours following certain treatments, particularly injectables.

  • Alcohol may be avoided for 24 hours following injectable treatments, as it can increase the likelihood of bruising. Specific guidance will be provided at your appointment.

  • In most cases, makeup can be worn after 24 hours. Specific guidance will be provided at your appointment.

  • Yes. Daily SPF is essential to protect the skin and maintain results.

  • We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Payment in full is required when the notice period isn’t observed.

  • I will do my best to accommodate you, where time allows, but due to the specific time required to complete treatments safely and effectively lateness may result in having to cancel or reschedule your appointment and forfeiture of your booking deposit fee.

  • In certain circumstances, such as medical emergency, family emergency, or the treatment is deemed unsuitable, the booking deposit fee will be refunded at The Skin Edit’s discretion.
